Highlights of this tour include Nimbin Australia’s home of alternative lifestyle- hippies, cookies and herbs (you know the ones), spectacular views of Mount Warning, traditionally know as Wollumbin, this mountain can be seen from almost everywhere on the Southern Gold Coast and we ride right past the base.

We also ride through several sections of rainforest’s on this tour, not many places in Australia where you can ride under the ferns and smell the ultra fresh air. On the return we head over the Burringbar range, this part of road used to form the Pacific Hwy and had a lot of many spent on it and was an accident blackspot. Now it is an almost unused hot-mix tared tight and twisty track over the range.

The name says it all with this one, we leave the World renowned surfing beaches of Coolangatta aboard the unique three wheeled Spyder motorbike and head to the home of the backpacker- Byron Bay. Set in the Bay of Cape Byron this small country town with it’s green, relaxed lifestyle is a must see for any visitor to the Gold Coast. We ride up to the the Byron Bay lighthouse, Australia’s most easterly point, on a clear day you can see back up the coast to Kingscliff.

Our route to Byron Bay takes us off the main boring straight Highway and instead over the Burringbar range, we drop down through the little village of Mooball with it’s cow theme. The return journey takes us home past some of the most expensive beach shacks in Australia, located in the prestige villages of Salt, Causarina and Kingscliff. Some really spectacular ocean views and even more spectacular price tags.

Ride past some of the world’s best surf breaks and possibly even some World Champion surfers as soon as possible we get off the Highway and start heading for the quieter, rural Gold Coast Hinterland. We shoot past the Hinze Dam, home to the water you drink when on the Coast and start the climb up to Beechmont, if you are looking for the best view of the whole Gold Coast then this climb has it! If the wind is right we might catch the hang-gliders jumping off the each of the cliff either at Beechmont or Mount Tamborine. We briefly stop at the Mount Tamborine Brewery, sorry no samples for riders before heading back down the mountain for the return journey.

The ride to Springbrook is one of the favourites and has it all- tight and twisty roads, rainforests, stunning views of the Gold Coast, waterfalls and the fresh smell of nature, you don’t get that in an air conditioned bus!

Choose from either the You-Ryde tag-along or We-Ryde chauffeured guided tour to this amazing destination. Start off from Coolangatta on the Southern Gold Coast, only 5 minutes from the airport, head along beautiful white sandy beaches and into the hinterland of Currumbin. Once over the Tomewin range we head north on some the Gold Coast’ss best and most well known biking roads before climbing the mountain to the top of world heritage listed Springbrook National Park. Here we stop at several of the Gold Coasts best lookouts, one of them is even called Best of All lookout, so it must be good. Make sure you bring a jumper as this lookout is home to some prehistoric Antarctic trees and even in the middle of summer can get cold. Another stop offers views of Purlingbrook falls and through the hinterland back to the Gold Coast beaches. It is easy to spot the Q1 tower amongst the skyline. Our journey back down the mountain takes us on the twistiest road on the Coast with plenty of hairpin corners.
