The name says it all with this one, we leave the World renowned surfing beaches of Coolangatta aboard the unique three wheeled Spyder motorbike and head to the home of the backpacker- Byron Bay. Set in the Bay of Cape Byron this small country town with it’s green, relaxed lifestyle is a must see for any visitor to the Gold Coast. We ride up to the the Byron Bay lighthouse, Australia’s most easterly point, on a clear day you can see back up the coast to Kingscliff.
Our route to Byron Bay takes us off the main boring straight Highway and instead over the Burringbar range, we drop down through the little village of Mooball with it’s cow theme. The return journey takes us home past some of the most expensive beach shacks in Australia, located in the prestige villages of Salt, Causarina and Kingscliff. Some really spectacular ocean views and even more spectacular price tags.
