The ride to Springbrook is one of the favourites and has it all- tight and twisty roads, rainforests, stunning views of the Gold Coast, waterfalls and the fresh smell of nature, you don’t get that in an air conditioned bus!

Start off from Coolangatta on the Southern Gold Coast, only 5 minutes from the airport, head along beautiful white sandy beaches and into the hinterland of Currumbin. Once over the Tomewin range we head north on some the Gold Coast’ss best and most well known biking roads before climbing the mountain to the top of world heritage listed Springbrook National Park. Here we stop at several of the Gold Coasts best lookouts, one of them is even called Best of All lookout, so it must be good. Make sure you bring a jumper as this lookout is home to some prehistoric Antarctic trees and even in the middle of summer can get cold. Another stop offers views of Purlingbrook falls and through the hinterland back to the Gold Coast beaches. It is easy to spot the Q1 tower amongst the skyline. Our journey back down the mountain takes us on the twistiest road on the Coast with plenty of hairpin corners.
